As you can see, Stella is minus one front tooth.
The new one is already on it's way.
What you don't see is the tears and angst over the pulling of the tooth.
We tried with fingers, hemostat, and finally floss.
Of all the people that tried pulling it,
I
am the one who finally did it.
I
never have liked loose teeth
and the way they wiggle and hang.
(a real problem when you teach 1st grade)
I
just had to be brave and do it.
Does that make me a grown up?

I love the poetry of this entry. I definitely think you're a grown up :)
She looks pretty traumatized in the middle picture. It is not easy to pull baby teeth. Kids always look like they're in so much pain.
Plus they can holler.
