Last weekend we traveled to Grandparents Williams.
On our way we drove over a mountain pass,
where the elevations was 4000+ feet.
Snow mounded on the sides of the road and we
felt like we were driving through a winter wonderland.
The kids wondered why is was 60 at home and no snow?
We talked a little about elevation and how that affects weather.
(I know, I lived in Rexburg for 2 years!)
This seemed to satisfy their curiosity.
This seemed to satisfy their curiosity.
From the backseat we heard this declaration from Stella
"In this part of the world, when it's cold, it snows,
In our part of the world, when it's cold, it's WINDY!"
Yes, that about sums up the weather in our part of the world...

A photo, just because I'm nice.
