In October Sam had his first haircut. It was such a hard step for me. Strange too, because having a girl we always wanted her hair to grow and not be short. In the months since October, Sam's hair has gotten long again (of course). So, this afternoon we dived in and cut it. Oddly enough, he was fascinated by the sound of the clippers and so he sat pretty still. This is unusual because unless sleeping, he is NEVER still.

I am sure that he has probably just been waiting for someone to get rid of all that hair. We even got rid of the fuzzy, nubbies from his extreme bed head in back (sorry, no photo of that) He looks happy to have a new "do". I'm sure he feels like a new "little man"

It's amazing to me, but after haircuts kids always look older. He is very handsome!
Sam looks adorable, and he seems quite pleased with the results himself! What a big boy he is getting to be. I wish Mitch had enough hair to cut...:)
